Consider changing certain aspects of your team, such as Playstyle, Formation or Team Talks.
Firstly, subs are a great way to influence a game if your starting players aren’t performing well.
Playstyles strongly impact the ways your team plays. If you're conceding lots of goals, consider a more defensively-minded playstyle, such as Compact. You should also look to use a Playstyle that matches the strengths of your team. Try out Wing Play if your team has strong players in wide positions, for example.
During games, the Attack and Defence Mentalities can be used to influence the nature of your team. Using All-Out Attack can be a great way to try and get a goal, while Ultra Defensive can be used to play more conservatively to protect a lead.
Finally, changing formation will have a huge impact on how a game plays out. Playing 5 in midfield will make the central areas harder to break through, for example.
Additionally, consider changing your squad by buying and selling your players, or even, improving them during training.
