When entering into a negotiation with a Driver, you will have a set amount of attempts to win them over, indicated by their Patience.
Your aim in the negotiation is to develop a contract each party can agree on, with the areas that are essential for the Driver marked Important or Very Important.
When you feel satisfied with your offer, you can place it before the driver. The handshake indicator will show how close to reaching an agreement you are. If you fall short, you may need to increase the amount you are offering, change the Drivers position on the team, or reduce the contract length if the Driver is only interested in short term contracts.
Be careful though! If you offer a Driver 1st Position on your team, but have already promised it to another Driver, then this could create a breach of contract.
