My Sponsors value changed when I swapped into or out of an Endurance Championship, what gives?

Endurance Championships apply a multiplier to any sponsor rewards you receive during that season to help offset the additional costs of running 4 more Drivers. This multiplier will be lost when leaving Endurance and returning to GT or Open Wheel championships.
